Charles J. Scimeca, President

scimecaServes as President, Secretary and a director of NUUU and subsidiaries since April 2010.  Mr. Scimeca is responsible for the overall management of the company’s business development. His role focuses on implementation of the strategic business plan through equity or debt financing, acquisition/divestiture of technologies, product development and the establishment of strategic partnerships where appropriate. His expertise in business development includes investor relations and SEC compliance consulting.

Mr. Scimeca is an entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience in structuring reverse mergers and acquisitions of private companies to become public. His portfolio includes businesses such as Park City Group founded by Randy Fields, co-founder of Mrs. Fields cookies. Worldwide Biotech and Pharmaceutical Company, a biopharmaceutical company with manufacturing facilities in the People’s Republic of China, and Valley Forge Composite Technologies, which specializes in cargo security and aerospace products.

Mr. Scimeca has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Coast To Coast Equity Group, Inc., which provides consulting services and funding for private companies going public.  He also develops investor relations and marketing services.  Mr. Scimeca has served as President of Coast To Coast Realty Group, Inc., which offers commercial real estate services.  Mr. Scimeca is a licensed real estate broker in Florida for over 20 years and has been involved in many real estate transactions.

Kat Peeler, Strategic Brand Development 

peelerKat Peeler is a high-performing, award-winning senior executive with over 22 years of experience in Strategic Brand Development and Management for Beauty, Personal Care and Consumer Products. Kat brings a wealth of experience and credibility with strengths including strategic vision and business optimization, extensive new product development and innovation in US and globally, repositioning and managing brands for turnaround or renewed growth, consumer insight across general market and diverse targets, and exceptional judgment with a winning spirit.

Currently, Kat is the Founder and CEO of Eco Guar Group, a supplier of sustainable raw materials to the Personal Care and Food Industries.  Prior to Eco Guar Group, Kat was Senior Vice President of Marketing at L’Oréal.  Her most significant role during her 17 years at L’Oreal was in the Consumer Products Division leading Garnier Hair, including Haircare, Styling and Haircolor businesses.  She held P&L responsibility for the $515 million business across three categories with a business driver budget over $130 million.  Her brands included Fructis – the largest brand in L’Oreal USA and in Garnier globally – and Nutrisse Haircolor.  In addition to innovating product launch plans in the US, Kat drove new product development across the three categories, led advertising and digital development, and coordinated with international teams for selected global market execution.

Kat was the powerhouse behind Garnier Fructis, L’Oreal’s biggest launch worldwide in its history, which ranked #5 in Advertising Age magazine’s “10 Most Successful Product Launches” for 2003.  She was responsible for bringing the ½ billion dollar business from Europe to the US, and through her passion and devotion made Garnier Fructis the #5 haircare line at retail in just 8 months (in a $4.3 billion US haircare market).

A recognized expert, Kat’s marketing innovation, distinction and excellence have won her numerous accolades.  Brandweek magazine named her a “2003 Marketer of the Next Generation”.  She was also named a “Top Executive in Marketing & Advertising” by Black Enterprise magazine in 2011, 2012 and 2013.  Kat has been interviewed and quoted in numerous articles in publications including Women’s Wear Daily and Advertising Age.  Also, Kat was profiled in the Inc.com article “Personal Branding and Professional Success” in June 2015.

In addition to the Rejuvel Advisory Board, Kat serves on the Princeton University Store Trustee Board (non-profit).

Kat received her Masters of Management degree from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and earned her undergraduate degree in Engineering from Princeton University.  She lives in New York City.

Kat was named to the Rejuvel Advisory Board in February 2016.
